The nostalgic elegance persists throughout the interior spaces, with honey-coloured woods, gold-tipped ceiling fans, and wooden plantation shutters. Walls are hung with sepia-tinted photographs, and a 1920s gramophone sits on the bar. Throughout the interiors there are glimpses of Eastern antiques.

The main restaurant is the beautiful Dining Room, built entirely of wood, and located right by the pool. One of the island's most popular dining destinations is the Plantation, which combines a spectacular setting in a planter's house by the beach with an inventive approach to fresh seafood fused with Creole cuisine. At night, guests can enjoy their food to the accompaniment of live Sega dancing performances, and original local entertainment. At lunch-time, the Verandah, by the sea and overlooking the pool, provides an exciting choice of light healthy meals, salads and sandwiches, with spectacular views of the sea.
