On arrival at this attractive resort with its blue-roofed buildings, you will be impressed by the magnificent lobby, and the beautiful tropical gardens with ornate bridged waterways and three infinity pools - there is even a charming flamingo pen, where the flamingos come right up to the fence to greet you. The lobby and the main pool are the centre of most of the resort's activity. In the lobby, popular music plays during the afternoon, and the Coco Cafe is a place for enjoying cakes, coffee and tropical beverages.

The spectacular main pool, with its glamorous whirlpool baths, provides endless enjoyment for both adults and children, with all kinds of special effects, like an ocean trampoline and an iceberg climbing wall. On one side, by the lounge chairs, the pool is zero-entry, making it perfect for little ones. The other end runs off the side of the pool deck, and seems to merge with the ocean. 

When night falls, magical moments are created, with parties, music and live stage shows. On several nights a week, a live band plays beside the main pool, and staff members in fancy dress entice guests on to the dance floor. There are also live dance shows, including a weekly Dominican Night, with a Dominican dance show and  Dominican food served buffet-style at tables by the pool -- then after the stage performances end, a lounge singer and keyboard player take over in the lobby.

The resort provides a phenomenal range of dining options, with 8 à la carte restaurants and 7 bars and cafés. The à la carte restaurants offer a fabulous selection, ranging from authentic Mexican and local Dominican food, to French, Italian and pan-Asian cuisine. At the main buffet restaurant, World Café, meals are an event, with many luxurious and surprising delicacies on offer. 

As well as the wide choice of restaurants, there are two special options for dinner, requiring reservations. One is an al fresco dinner of grilled lobster, prepared and served right on the beach. The other is the Romantic Dinner, for just a few couples on any one night, served on a secluded section of the pier, where each table has its own dedicated waiter.
